What are Superdelegates?
If neither Obama or Clinton get enough delegates to win the Democratic nomination, the Superdelegates vote to break the tie. The majority vote of the delegates can be ignored.
In a recent nasty letter to Nancy Pelosi, a bunch of bourgeoisie Democrats with lots of elite ties and money explained:
"Superdelegates, like all delegates, have an obligation to make an informed, individual decision about whom to support and who would be the party's strongest nominee…"
In other words, Superdelegates know better than the delegates because they are smarter, have more money, more vested political ties, are the backbone of the Democratic good-old-boy network, etc.
Superdelegates are pure bullshit and their very existence runs afoul any concept of Democracy I’ve ever known. I’m sick of power politics designed to give an edge to wealthy, established, power holders.
Fuck the Superdelegates. They appear to me to be secret members of the Communist Party. Either that, or they are more Republican than Republicans at heart.
